Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, meditative style where seated or supine poses are held passively for 3–10 minutes to target deep connective tissues (fascia, ligaments, joints) rather than muscles. It offers a restorative "mini-vacation" to calm the nervous system, improve flexibility, and release emotional tension, acting as a perfect counterbalance to active "Yang" yoga or high-intensity workouts.
