Meet Sherra, a yoga teacher on a mission to make yoga accessible to anyone who wants to give it a try. With a passion for helping people develop a supportive and effective yoga practice, Sherra has been teaching yoga since 2011. Her dedication to sharing yoga with individuals who may feel hesitant to join a class due to self-perceived limitations such as weight, inflexibility, age, or injury is truly inspiring.
Sherra's journey with yoga began in 2003 when she sought to alleviate the pain and dysfunction caused by a back injury. Determined to make progress, she began taking weekly private yoga sessions with Tina Stroh. Through consistent practice, Sherra saw remarkable improvement and committed to a year of regular private sessions and home practice.
Sherra's dedication and commitment to yoga led her to earn her 200 hr certification through Just Plain Yoga. Additionally, she studied extensively with certified Iyengar teacher Dale Hails from 2009 until 2015. Today, Sherra is passionate about empowering others to find their own yoga journey, no matter their background or perceived limitations. Whether you're brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, Sherra is here to support you every step of the way.
