Jennifer began her study of yoga more than a decade ago. Her interest in yoga started as a physical and external practice with the sole intention of unwinding after years spent in the corporate world; where she was often exhausted, burnt-out and lacked the tools to quiet her mind and worries. Jennifer quickly found that yoga supported both her physical and mental health; it offered her a chance to soften and relax her body and mind in order to release tension, facilitate deep healing and restoration. What started out as just a physical yoga practice quickly evolved into an understanding of the internal practice of stillness, growth, balance and acceptance that yoga offers. Jennifer's love of yoga led her on a journey to become a teacher in 2020, where she learned just how passionate she really is about sharing restorative yoga and encouraging relaxation with the world. She believes we are living in an unprecedented time of high burn-out, high stress and high tension in mind, body and spirit. Therefore, in every class, Jennifer offers her students a chance to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect to their body, find stillness in their mind and relax into a space that promotes health and well-being.
