Amy is a Dillsburg native, and while she’s lived here most of her life, she loves traveling to gain new perspective and inspiration to bring home to share. She studied Hatha Yoga, with an emphasis on authentic teaching from the heart, at Yandara’s Yoga Institute in Baja California, Mexico. There she received her 200 hour certification and training. She is particularly drawn to Yoga’s healing qualities, having used it as a form of movement medicine on her own health journey. Trained in meditation, philosophy, and breath work, Amy loves to teach mindful movement which sparks a deeper connection to self while opening communication between mind and body.
Amy studied Sustainability, Public Policy and Art in school and has been working with PAIRWN, an immigrant and refugee nonprofit in Harrisburg for the last few years. Amy is always pursuing a new passion, whether on her yoga mat, whipping up nourishing dishes in the kitchen, reading, writing, or creating art. Amy values spending time with friends new and old and loves to connect on a deeper level through yoga.
