Improve balance, circulation, mindfulness with Tai Chi (Taijiquan). Class begins with light stretching and Qigong. Qigong is fundamental to Tai chi practice as it focuses on breathing and energy circulating techniques to improve overall health.
Tai Chi is perhaps the most popular and utilized martial art in the world. Improved balance, circulation and relaxation are some of the expected individual results from Tai Chi practice. Fun facts: The Arthritis Foundation recommends Tai Chi for easing joint pain and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends Tai Chi for balance, particularly reducing the chance of falls.
